भाजपा प्रदेश कार्यकारिणी एवं राज्य महिला आयोग की पूर्व सदस्य डाक्टर प्रियंवदा तोमर द्वारा भाजपा की किसान विरोधी नीतियों से आहत होकर राष्ट्रीय लोक दल का दामन थाम लिये जाने के बाद रालोद के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चौधरी अजीत सिंह ने उन्हें नारी शक्ति संगठन (महिला प्रकोष्ठ) का राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मनोनीत किया है। श्रीमती तोमर की राजनीतिक पृष्ठभूमि तथा अनुभव को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए उन्हें यह अहम जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। रालोद के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री जयंत चौधरी ने उम्मीद जताई कि श्रीमती तोमर की सहभागिता रालोद द्वारा किसानों, मजदूरों एवं महिला सशक्तीकरण हेतु किये जा रहे संघर्ष में नई उर्जा का संचार करेगी । पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता श्री अनुपम मिश्रा ने डाक्टर तोमर को बधाई देते हुए यह भरोसा जताया कि उनका योगदान पार्टी को उसके लक्ष्य की ओर मजबूती से बढ़ने के लिये बल प्रदान करेगा।
After being hurt by the anti farmer policies of BJP the former member of the state women commission and state executive committee Dr. Priyamvada Tomar joined Rashtriya lok dal. National president of RLD Chaudhry Ajit Singh has nominated Mrs Tomar as the National President of the Womens wing of the Nari Shakti Sangathan of RLD. Keeping in view the political background and experience of Dr.Tomar, she has been entrusted with this responsibility. The national vice president of RLD Jayant Chaudhri expressed hope that participation of Mrs Tomar will create a new energy in the party and make the struggle of the party more powerful. Congratulating Mrs Tomar, the National Spokesperson of RLD Mr Anupam mishra said that the contribution of Dr Tomar will give a new strength to the party in the path of its struggle.
